Nebula (Manni) Li is a Los Angeles-based director and writer. She holds a B.F.A. in Cinema and Television from Beijing Normal-Hong Kong Baptist University and an M.F.A. in Film Directing from Chapman University.

Born and raised in Shenzhen, Nebula moved to the U.S. in 2023 to advance her filmmaking career. Her portfolio spans diverse genres, from intimate family dramas and coming-of-age stories to high-stakes
psychological thrillers. She is defined by a strong visual language that guides her projects from the first draft to the final cut.

Nebula is passionate about socially conscious storytelling. Her work highlights immigrant experiences and amplifies marginalized voices,
challenging audiences to view everyday life through a new lens. Her films have earned recognition at prestigious BAFTA-qualifying festivals, including Flickers' Rhode Island International Film Festival (RIIFF).
